The Untamed (Chinese: 陈情令; pinyin: Chén Qíng Lìng) is a 2019 Chinese television series adapted from the xianxia novel Mo Dao Zu Shi by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, starring Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo.[1] It follows the adventures of two soulmate cultivators who travel to solve a series of mysteries that link to a tragic event in the past.[2]

I’ve already written my review on Mo Dao Zu Shi so I will just say:
This will change your life, your thinking, your perception of the world.
It is the best most accurate and heartfelt LGBTQ+ romance I’ve ever experienced and I think every queer/LGBTQ+ person should experience it at least once.
This is a story that has a romance in it that is LGBTQ+. It is not a LGBTQ+ romance with a story in it. It can stand VERY well on its own, but it doesn’t.
I’ve never seen one written this way. It’s honestly…legendary. Watch it.
