Saturday Night Live (SNL) is an American late night comedy sketch and variety show. Each week, a guest host is thrown into sketches with the ensemble cast members for the purpose of comedy. Most of the sketches addresses current political and social issues happening in the US. Kate McKinnon is the first lesbian comedian to join the cast of SNL and has won 2016 and 2017  Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
